| Dr. Block is known for personalized care, making the right diagnosis and saving the lives of pets with serious illnesses and injuries. He advocates preventive and routine pet care to help avoid disease and to ensure the best health possible. Pets receive individual care based on their breed, age, medical history and environmental factors. Dr. Block enjoys caring for all animals – from the longhaired to flat-faced to web- footed. He has treated and rehabilitated White Rock Lake geese and ducks, owls, hawks and hedgehogs, among other small animals. As a public health steward, Dr. Block has special training in disaster preparedness and participates on a Texas A&M University committee whose mission is to educate and protect our communities if disaster or bioterrorism should occur. Dr. Block is a graduate of Texas A&M University, College of Veterinary Medicine, and focuses on small animal surgery and internal medicine. Dr. Block lives in Dallas with his wife, two children and five pets. |
